How to travel to Peru?
Peru is one of the most popular destinations worldwide, being served by some
of the main airline companies in the world. Your first destination will be
the Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, where our reception personnel
will meet you. Your final destination will be Velasco Astete International
Airport in Cusco, where you will be met by our reception personnel to be transported
to the hotel.
Climate
Cusco is located at 3326 masl. By the end of October we can expect cloudy or
clear skies with occasional showers. Temperature will range between 22 Celsius
during midday and 4 Celsius during the evening and nights.

Language
The language in Peru is Spanish. As we expect that most presentations will
be in English, simultaneous translation into French and Spanish will be
provided during the meeting
Currency
Peru's currency is the Nuevo Sol (1 USD = S/. 3.4 Nuevos Soles).
Although most establishments will accept the US dollar, it is convenient
to carry a few Soles with you at all times.
Airport Taxes
The international exit tax at Lima Airport is currently US $ 28.24
The national exit tax at both Lima and Cusco Airport is currently
US$ 5.00
Insurance
Participants should make the necessary arrangements for personal insurance
to cover accidents, illness or loss of personal property while attending
this meeting.
Passport/Visas
All visitors to Peru must carry a valid passport. Nationals of
some countries might require a visa as well.
