Dear MP colleagues,

I think key mechanisms and tools Plan of Action shows are suitable, but their analysis has necessarily be preceded by more informations about needs and demands of the members. In a first time, Secretariat for the Mountain Partnership could realize a research (and we could include in the Plan of Action this communication) for gathering informations and then analysing them.

This preparatory work could supply indications for deciding what fields strenghten, if fundrasing or advocacy services or other specific needs. The networking will consent to answer to the needs of the members through services on line avalaible on the Mountain Partnership and Mountain Forum web site in dedicated spaces.

A periodical discussion forum about different subjects could keep in touch the members and allow them to share experiences and best practices. I agree to strenghten in Plan of Action the need for each Member to assume a leading role in the collection, exchange and dissemination of relevant data and information.

Je pense que les mécanismes clés et outils du Plan of Action sont corrects, mais leur analyse aura été forcément précédée par d’autres informations sur les besoins et les demandes des membres. Dans un premier temps, le Secrétariat pour le Partenariat de la montagne pourrait conduire une recherche (et nous pourrions inclure cette communication dans le Plan d’action) pour la collecte et l’analyse d’informations.

Ces travaux préparatoires pourraient fournir des indications sur quels domaines ont besoin d’être renforcés, de la collecte de fonds aux campagnes de promotion ou autres besoins spécifiques. La mise en réseau permettra de répondre aux exigences des membres par des services en ligne disponibles sur les sites web du Partenariat de la montagne et du Forum de la montagne.

Un forum de discussion périodique sur différents thèmes pourrait maintenir en contact les membres et leur permettre de partager leurs expériences et meilleures pratiques. Je suis d’accord pour renforcer dans le Plan d’action la nécessité de chaque membre de revêtir un rôle pilote dans la collecte, l’échange et la diffusion des données pertinentes et des informations.
