YES, I AGREE WITH THE MECHANISMS AND TOOLS IDENTIFIED. HOWEVER I FIND THEM VERY GENERAL. SHOULDN’T THEY BE MORE SPECIFIC?

B. Do you have suggestions on how the mechanisms could be implemented at all levels, particularly at the country and/or regional level?

IN MY OPINION IT IS DIFFICULT TO RESPOND TO THIS QUESTION IN A GLOBAL WAY. IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO APPLY AN APPROPRIATE MECHANISM ONCE THE REGION IN QUESTION HAS BEEN ANALYSED. DO WE USE THE SAME METHODS TO SET UP A NETWORK IN AFRICA AND IN THE ANDES? DO WE USE THE SAME MEANS TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION IN THE ALPS AND IN THE HIMALAYAS? I’M NOT SURE.

C. Would you like to suggest some other mechanisms and tools that could be used/implemented by members and/or services to be provided by the Secretariat for the Mountain Partnership, in collaboration with the Mountain Forum?

I WOULD PREFER TO IMPROVE THE TOOLS THAT HAVE BEEN PROPOSED RATHER THAN ADDING ANY MORE NEW ONES. FOR EXAMPLE FINDING WAYS OF GATHERING AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION THAT HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO WORK IN DIFFERENT MOUNTAIN REGIONS.

Si estoy de acuerdo con los mecanismos y herramientas identificadas. Sin embargo, las encuentro muy generales. No deberían ser mas especificas?

B. Tienes sugerencias sobre como los mecanismos pueden ser implementados a todos los niveles, particularmente a nivel de pais y/o regional?

En mi opinión, es muy difícil responder a esta pregunta de una manera global. Sera posible aplicar mecanismos apropiados una vez que las regiones en cuestion hallan sido analizadas. Utilizaremos los mismos metodos para establecer una red en Africa que en los Andes? Utilizaremos los mismos medios para diseminar información en los Alpes que en los Himalayas? No estoy seguro.

C. Te gustaria sugerir algun otro mecanismo y herramienta que pueda ser usado/implementado por otros miembros y/o servicios provistos por el Secretariado de MP, en colaboración con Mountain Forum?

Preferiria mejorar las herramientas que han sido propuestas mas que agregar algun otra nueva. Por ejemplo, encontrar maneras de compilar y diseminar información de proyectos que funcionan en diferentes regiones de montana.

OUI, JE SUIS D'ACCORD AVEC LES MECANISMES ET LES OUTILS IDENTIFIES. JE LES TROUVE TOUTEFOIS TRES GENERAUX. NE FAUDRAIT-IL PAS LES SPECIFIER UN PEU PLUS ?

A MON SENS, IL EST DIFFICILE DE REPONDRE DE MANIERE GLOBALE. L'APPLICATION D'UN MECANISME ADEQUAT NE POURRA SE FAIRE QU'APRES AVOIR ANALYSE LA REGION CONCERNEE. ETABLIT-ON DE LA MEME MANIERE UN RESEAU EN AFRIQUE OU DANS LES ANDES ? DIFFUSE-T-ON DE LA MEME MANIERE DES INFORMATIONS DANS LES ALPES ET DANS L'HIMALAYA. JE N'EN SUIS PAS CERTAIN.

JE PREFERERAIS APPROFONDIR LES OUTILS PROPOSES PLUTOT QU'EN AJOUTER DES NOUVEAUX. PAR EXEMPLE PROPOSER DES MOYENS DE RECOLTE OU DE DIFFUSION D'INFORMATION DONT L'EFFICACITE A ETE DEMONTREE DANS CERTAINES REGIONS DE MONTAGNE.
