SEMANA 3: Preguntas a N. Zuñiga

- Cuantas de las variedades (que porcentaje), de las que presentan las familias mencionadas en las ferias de biodiversidad, las utilizan ya sea en el consumo, venta, transformación, etc.?, o simplemente la necesidad de ganar "un premio", hace que estas familias cultiven esta variabilidad (relación conservacion-utilizacion)?.

- No estoy de acuerdo en que "esta diversidad ... es un bien común de la humanidad", ya que bajo este pretexto se enajenan recursos geneticos que familias, como las que se menciona en la presentación, conservan con tanto esfuerzo, sin reconocimiento alguno, mas al contrario son devueltas en "variedades mejoradas" a altos costos economicos y ecológicos. La diversidad es de las poblaciones que domesticaron, cultivaron y cultivan variedades de gran potencial alimenticio y económico y el reconocimiento (más que un simple premio) por su uso debe ir hacia ellas. Que es lo que opinan?

 - Am not in agreement in which "this diversity ... is a common good of the humanity", since under this pretext are alienated genetic resources that families, as those which is mentioned in the presentation, conserve with so much effort, without some recognition, but on the contrary are returned in "varieties improved" at high economic and ecological costs. The diversity is of the populations that tamed, cultivated and cultivate varieties of great dietary and economic potential and the recognition (more than a simple award) by its use it should go toward them. What do you think?
